It’s Sweet Harmony…..

…from Moda…and I love it!  Some fabrics are like that…one glance and you have got to have it!  That’s how I felt about Harmony.  Sounds like a love story doesn’t it!  I have been in love with this fabric for about 8 months now!  I first saw this fabric line when I went to the Calico Horse….during the Spring Fling Shop Hop in the Palm Desert area (California).  I bought some there and every time I see this fabric I buy a little more…..

I take it out of the drawer every now and then…just to look ~ put all those lovely colours together, then put it back in the draw…waiting for the perfect pattern to jump out and sing Harmony!P1030779

I even took pictures of it in the Quilter’s Coop in Temecula, California….did I mention that this is my all time favourite quilting shop!!  LOVED IT!

Now that I have ‘enough’ (is there such a thing!) what do I do with it??  I have been going through quilting books and patterns but so far nothing has sung in Harmony….got any ideas for me?

  4. I'm with you on the Harmony - I picked up a jelly roll of it when I was in NS this summer, and was just playing with it yesterday. Those penny rugs are just too cute - love those little stockings! Thanks for the heads-up! (and I do seem to recall a number 1 winning on a give away - so hang in there!)

  5. The Penny Rug is lovely alright, I'll go visit shortly. Your fabrics are delicious, but that quilt you took the picture of doesn't do it for me. I know what you mean about the perfect pattern- when you see it you know! Have you seen the Nov/Dec 'Quiltmaker' magazine as ther are some interesting new patterns in there?

  11. I've been crazy about Moda fabrics since I started quilting - so yummy!

I'm very smitten with the penny rugs - huge sigh - can't work with wool so I can only dream. :-)
